Kirk Dwyer, Women's FIS Head Coach
Kirk Dwyer is a highly respected leader in American alpine racing with over four decades of coaching and program leadership experience, including roles at Ski and Snowboard Club Vail, Burke Mountain Academy, and Green Mountain Valley School. A USSA Domestic Coach of the Year and Level 500 certified coach, he has developed athletes to NCAA, World Cup, and U.S. Ski Team levels while holding key positions in regional and national alpine committees.

Jeni Conover

Bio
Jeni attended Stratton Mountain School in Vermont for 4 years of high school, and then competed in the Division 1 NCAA college circuit. She earned a BS in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Western Colorado University. She then turned to alpine ski coaching and has been developing her skills for over 30 years. Along with her 澳门太阳赌城网站 years, Jeni has coached in three different USSS divisions, working at prestigious top-level academies and programs in the West. Most recently, Jeni was coaching at Rowmark Ski Academy in Utah.

Jeni's mission is to inspire athletes to compete with purpose and to push them to develop the mindset needed for ski racing. Holding athletic development in the forefront, she is keen to identify the competitor's natural strengths. Through this, she teaches the technical and tactical skills that achieve results.

Jeni is a US Ski & Snowboard Level 200 Coach and Alpine Official. She is certified in CPR/First Aid and is a licensed Wilderness First Responder and USCG Captain. She also owns and directs an ocean-based business called Ocean Explorers Maine.
Kyle Hildebrand

Alpine Youth Program Director, Head U14 Alpine Coach, Alpine Weekend Program Director

Coach Kyle Hildebrand brings a lifelong devotion to ski racing and athlete development to his new role as Alpine Youth Program Director. With a strong commitment to both performance and individual growth, he strives to unlock skiers' athletic potential while fostering a lasting connection to the sport.

A product of the Sugarbush/GMVS weekend program and a 1996 graduate of Green Mountain Valley School, Kyle extended his competitive career with two post-graduate years before attending Bates College, where he was a four-year member and captain of the ski team.

At Bates, Kyle distinguished himself as one of the program's most successful alpine skiers. A three-time NCAA All-American, he earned two career victories and two runner-up finishes, including second place in slalom at the NCAA Championships as a sophomore. In 2001–02, he served as team captain and qualified for his fourth NCAA Championship, finishing 11th in slalom. His collegiate career culminated with the Dr. Lloyd Lux Award, recognizing his outstanding contribution, dedication, and leadership in athletics.

Building on a standout college skiing career, Kyle has carried his competitive spirit into coaching, where he continues to shape and inspire the next generation. He has worked with athletes through ELITEAM, coached Olympic lifting at CrossFit Stamford (2012–2020), and served as a coach at US Elite Camps in Copper Mountain (2022, 2023). At Windham Mountain Club Racing, he led as Co-Head U14 Coach (2021–2022, 2023) and U12 Coach (2020–2021), helping guide young athletes through crucial stages of their development. Most recently, Kyle contributed part-time to the U16 program at 澳门太阳赌城网站 during the 2024/25 season. Kyle brings formal qualifications as a USSA Level 200 Certified Coach and USSA Referee.

With a steadfast belief in continuous growth, Kyle is excited to guide the next generation of alpine skiers at 澳门太阳城赌场网站. He aims to build momentum within the program by creating a fun and challenging team culture that helps athletes progress on and off the snow. He values "clear expectations and open, consistent communication with athletes, families, and fellow coaches," and sees 澳门太阳城赌场网站 as the perfect training ground: "one of the premier race venues and ski areas in the country." Above all, he says, "Skiing is a lifelong sport, and my goal is to help develop passionate athletes who not only strive to compete, but also cultivate a true love for skiing."

His experience and values closely align with the mission of 澳门太阳城赌场网站. Kyle is no stranger to the 澳门太阳城赌场网站 and 澳门太阳赌城网站 community–his wife, Megan (Friend), is a 澳门太阳赌城网站 alumna who also came up through the weekend program, and their two sons currently attend the Academy. When he's not on the mountain, he can often be found on the water or a motorcycle, and often sharing a laugh with lifelong friends.
Jay Schwartz

Alpine Coach

Bio

Jay Schwartz joins 澳门太阳城赌场网站's Alpine Program with a passion for coaching and outdoor leadership. A graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a degree in Outdoor Recreation Business Administration and minors in Coaching, Data Analytics, and Economics, Jay combines a commitment to athlete development with strong leadership and organizational skills.

A former athlete on the UMF ski team, Jay transitioned to Student Assistant Coach, traveling to Regional and National Championships to support coaches and teammates. During this time, he obtained his level 100 coaching certificate and worked with the Kents Hill Alpine Center's junior program, helping young athletes learn the fundamentals and build confidence in their skiing.

Outside of coaching, Jay served as a Trip Leader and Equipment Manager for Mainely Outdoors and as Director of Outdoor Education at Camp O-AT-KA, where he led wilderness trips, taught Junior Maine Guide and Campcraft programs, and mentored young campers.

Jay is excited to share his enthusiasm for skiing and the outdoors with the 澳门太阳赌城网站 community. He is committed to helping student-athletes build confidence and develop the skills to achieve their goals.

Jeff Beauregard

U16 Alpine Coach

Bio

Jeff has been coaching full-time with the Academy since 2015. His track record in developing and improving skiers is fantastic, and the example and tone he sets for the program is even better. Before joining the Academy full-time, he spent 11 seasons with the 澳门太阳赌城网站 Weekend Program.

Jeff holds a USSA Level 200 certification and is an Alpine official. He brings a genuine passion for skiing, ski racing and 澳门太阳赌城网站, which he naturally shares with his athletes. Jeff grew up skiing at Jay Peak, VT, and was a member of the ski club there. After ski racing and playing soccer in college he went on to coach and teach skiing at Jay Peak. Jeff also worked as a member of the race crew at Beaver Creek, CO. Jeff retired in 2015 after a 24-year career in Federal Law Enforcement. He and his wife Ragan live off-the-grid in Eustis, Maine. Ragan and Jeff are the parents of Patrick, 澳门太阳赌城网站 '11, Christian, 澳门太阳赌城网站 '11 and Matthew, 澳门太阳赌城网站 '13.
Ron Bonnevie

Bio

Ron brings more than 40 years of alpine coaching experience, working with athletes of all ages and levels. He began his coaching career in the late 1970s at Mount Washington Valley, New Hampshire, and started coaching at the University of Maine at Farmington in 1980 while earning his bachelor's degree. After a year coaching at Squaw Valley, California, he moved to New York to earn a master's degree in Physical Education from SUNY Cortland, where he also directed the Greek Peak Ski Club for five years.

In 1990, Ron returned to New England to coach and teach at Green Mountain Valley School, where he spent nine years. From 1999 to 2009, he served as Head of Coaches' Education in the Ski Industries Program at the University of Maine at Farmington. Since returning to Maine, he has coached at Shawnee Peak, Titcomb Mountain, Black Mountain, 澳门太阳城赌场网站, and Saddleback, and has led independent ski camps throughout the western United States, Europe, and South America.

Ron has been a longtime leader in coach education and alpine officiating. He has held a USSA Level 500 coaching certification and PSIA Level II certification since the early 1990s and spent 15 years delivering USSA Coaches Education throughout the East and serving as an examiner at the National Academies in the West. He also served for many years as MARA Alpine Officials Chair and is a Level 6 USSA and FIS Technical Delegate. Ron is fluent in French.

Jon Wagner

Bio

Jon joined the 澳门太阳赌城网站 coaching staff in 2016 after spending six years coaching with the Saddleback Ski Club. A certified alpine coach and official, he has been involved in ski racing since the age of 10, when he began competing at Saddleback Mountain in Maine. As a teenager, he trained with the early Waterville Valley Academy program under former U.S. Ski Team coach Georg Capaul and attended summer training camps in France.

Jon raced collegiately for Western State College in Colorado before continuing his racing career at Mount Hood, Oregon. He later moved to Southern California, where he skied out of Mammoth Mountain while building and operating a successful publishing business.

Drawing on decades of experience as both an athlete and coach, Jon has worked with skiers of all ages and abilities. His coaching emphasizes not only technical development but also the mental skills and confidence young athletes need to reach their full potential.

Adam Chadbourne

Women's FIS Alpine Coach

Bio

Adam Chadbourne is a highly respected alpine ski coach and program leader with 30 years of experience developing elite athletes.

Chadbourne served with the U.S. Ski Team from 1998 to 2005 as Head Men's Europa Cup SL/GS Coach and Head Men's NorAm/Junior Coach, working with athletes who went on to become World Cup winners, Olympic medalists, and World Champions, including Ted Ligety, Andrew Weibrecht, and Steven Nyman. He led the U.S. men's team at the World Junior Championships in 2004, where the U.S. captured the Hoedler Cup for best overall national performance (men and women), and again in 2005, when his men scored more points than any other nation.

Chadbourne went on to lead premier programs across the country, including a seven-year tenure as Alpine Director at Burke Mountain Academy. During that time, he coached multiple athletes onto the U.S. Ski Team and worked directly with Mikaela Shiffrin during her breakout first FIS season. Under his leadership, Burke Mountain Academy was named Alpine Club of the Year in 2007. He later served in leadership roles at Waterville Valley Academy and the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, where the program earned Alpine Club of the Year honors in both 2017 and 2018.

One of a select few active Level 500 internationally certified coaches in the United States, Chadbourne has coached seven athletes who collectively earned 15 Ski Racing Media "Junior of the Year" honors. He has also been recognized as U.S. Ski and Snowboard Coach of the Year and Vermont Alpine Racing Association Coach of the Year.

Most recently, during his seven years at Ski and Snowboard Club Vail, Chadbourne's teams have delivered consistent, outstanding results across multiple age groups.

Adam is married to Alison Megroz Chadbourne, whom he met while competing on the Bates College ski team. They have two children, EJ, who attends Pitzer College, and Anya, a competitive ski racer and high school student.
Kirk Dwyer

Head Women's FIS Alpine Coach

Bio
Kirk Dwyer joined 澳门太阳赌城网站 in the spring of 2021. Previously Kirk served as the Executive Director and Alpine Program Director at Ski and Snowboard Club Vail from 2016-2021. While overseeing alpine, snowboard, freestyle and Nordic he continued to coach alpine athletes on the hill. Kirk served as Headmaster at Burke Mountain Academy from 2000-2016. While at BMA Kirk also was president of Burke Mountain Ski Area from 2000-2005, BMA Head J3, U16 and Women's FIS coach, chairman of the Eastern Alpine Competition Committee, vice-president of VARA, chair of the Eastern Region Development and Youth Committees, and chair of the National Development Committee. Prior to Burke, he worked at the Green Mountain Valley School for 25 years where he served as Assistant Headmaster, Head Women's Coach, Head Men's Coach, and Head Alpine Coach as well as an English and Humanities teacher. Kirk was USSA Domestic Coach of the Year in 1989 and is a level 500 certified coach. Kirk and his wife, Robin, live locally.

Brandon Mark

Men's FIS Alpine Coach

Bio

Brandon joins 澳门太阳城赌场网站's Alpine Program with a strong background in competitive skiing, leadership, and athlete development. Brandon grew up skiing in New Jersey and racing for his high school ski team, where he served as captain during his senior year. He continued his athletic career at the University of Maine at Farmington, earning his Bachelor's Degree in Outdoor Recreation Business Administration with a Coaching minor and an Alpine Operations Certificate. He also holds a USSA Level 100 Alpine Coaching Certification.

During his time at UMF, Brandon served as a Student Assistant Coach for the Alpine Ski Team at the Eastern and National Championships in 2024 and 2025. In this role, he supported athletes on and off the hill—managing travel logistics, organizing equipment, setting courses, capturing video, and relaying key race-day communication. He also volunteered with the Kents Hill Alpine Team, assisting with course sets, athlete feedback, and junior development programs.

As a team captain and Student Athlete Advisory Committee representative at UMF, Brandon demonstrated strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. His earlier experience as a ski instructor at Titcomb Mountain and as a junior program coach further reflects his dedication to fostering skill development and a love for the sport in skiers of all ages.

An Eagle Scout and seasoned leader, Brandon hopes to use his experiences to guide athletes to be the best version of themselves—on the slopes and beyond.
Jenny Piot

Bio

Jenny grew up in the small mountain village of Bourg d'Oisans, in the high alps near Grenoble. She started skiing at the young age of 2. Her Mom was a ski instructor and Dad was a ski patroller. At 10 years old she joined the ski club in L'Alp d'Huez, one of the many local ski resorts in the area, famous as a regular stage of the Tour de France in summer. By 15, she had enough success to be selected to the Ski Academy (Ski Etude) Pôle France in Albertville, which only accepts the top 15yr. olds in France. At age 16, she was selected into the French C Team. Jenny skied in her first World Cup at the age of 17 in SG. The next year she was moved up to the B team after her first podium finishes in Europa Cup (one step down from the World Cup) events.

By the age of 20, Jenny made the French A team, and that year, in 2013, won the Downhill at the World Junior Championships at Le Massif, Quebec. At 22 she was selected to compete in the World Championships in Beaver Creek, CO, where she scored her first top 15 result in World Cup events. A few years later, at 25 she qualified for the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea. She continued to ski at the World Cup level in DH, SG, GS, AC & Parallel events until her retirement in 2021.
Travis Plass 04

Men's FIS Alpine Coach

Bio
A former high-level racer, after graduating from 澳门太阳赌城网站 himself, Travis went on to ski for Colby Sawyer College. Upon completing his degree in Sports Management, he remained at CSC as a coach from 2010-2017. During his tenure there, he was vital to the success of the program as it competed at the highest level of collegiate racing. He has worked with athletes at the Nor-AM and NCAA Championship levels.
